Schoonmaker - Dasch
Jennifer Schoonmaker and Keith Dasch, both of Saint Marys, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. July 5 at The Nittany Lion Inn in State College. The Rev. J. William Anderson, the bride’s grandfather, officiated. A reception followed at the ballroom of the Nittany Lion Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Stan and Cindy Schoonmaker of Lexington, N.C. Parents of the bridegroom are Bob and Marsha Dasch of Butler.
The matron of honor was Nikki Orndorff of Winchester, Va. Bridesmaids were Heather Ondercin of State College, Nichole Bahen of Oak Harbor, W.Va., Beth Buerkel of Winchester, Diana Brittle of Harrisonburg, Va., and Emily Giberson of Newmarket, N.H. The flower girl was the groom’s niece, Kayla Dasch of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Lance Dasch of Butler. Groomsmen were Chris Fleeger, Aaron Steinheiser and Rusty Hartman, all of Butler, Eric Rife of Toledo, Ohio, and Shawn Downey of Erie.
The bride graduated in 1993 from West Davidson High School in North Carolina and in 1997 from Roanoke College, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations.
The bridegroom graduated in 1990 from Butler High School and in 1995 from Penn State, Beherad College, earning a bachelor’s degree in plastics and mechanical engineering. He works for GE Thermometrics in Saint Marys.
The couple honeymooned at Saint Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and have made their home in Saint Marys.
