GOYERT - C.J. & Billie Joyce
C.J. and Billie Joyce Goyert of Finneytown, Ohio celebrated 50 years of marriage with two special events.
The first occurred on August 8, 2004 and was a champagne brunch held at The Barn in Barrington, Illinois.
The brunch was hosted by their daughter Claudia and her husband Dr. Ciro Cirrincione for the many family members who reside in Illinois and were unable to celebrate the occasion in Cincinnati.
The second celebration began on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at the 4:30 Mass in St. Vivian Church, Winton Road.
A dinner followed at Vinoklet Winery hosted by their son Jay and his wife Terri for family, friends and grandchildren.
The Goyerts met at the University of Cincinnati in 1949 and were married on Saturday, August 14, 1954 at St. Boniface Church in Cincinnati.

(Obituary of C.J. Goyert: "GOYERT, C. J., Beloved husband of Billie Joyce Goyert (nee Metz) for 59 years. Devoted father and grandfather of Jay (Terri) Goyert, Quentin; Claudia ( Dr.Ciro) Cirrincione, Roselind, Lilia, Peter, Sofia; Reid (Beth) Goyert, Simon, McKenzie. Loving son of the late Clarence and Helen (nee Buegel) Goyert. Graduated University of Cincinnati, B.S. Bus. '51. Passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the age of 85. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian burial 11:00 a.m. at St. Vivian Church. Internment to Gate of Heaven Cemetery at later date.
