50th Wedding Anniversary
On October 18, 1954, Kay Foley married William Hauer.
Fifty years, five children and nine grandchildren later, the happily married couple is celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple lived with Children, stray dogs, guinea pigs, immortal fish, birds and a one eyed duck in their Lafayette Ave. home.
We would like to thank them for the following:
Endless unconditional love, Patience, Side porch card games on rainy days, Spook houses, Swim parties, Go carts, Rarely saying "no", Rides on top of the car, Letting us jump on the bed, Bellowing for us at athletic events, The back porch cow bell (but NOT the horse whip), Omeletes after Mass, Roller derby, Easter egg Hunts, Vacations where everything went wrong, Hot wax facials, And the Lazy Susan.
But we would especially like to thank them for being the unique, positive reinforcement that helped all five of us grow in to happy adults!
