Ingrid Yolanda Blount of Columbus and Thor Michael Jacobs of Cincinnati are engaged to be married and are exchanging their wedding vows on August 21, 2004 at Moonlite Gardens, Coney Island.

The maid of honor will be Heather Hagedorn and the best man will be Basil Ayisy.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Beechcroft High School in Columbus and the Ohio State University with a degree in Agricultural Business.

Ingrid is the daughter of Shirley and Reginald Blount.

The future groom is the son of Suzanne and the late Dr. James Najeeb Jacobs of Mt. Washington.

Thor is a graduate of Madeira High School with an undergraduate degree in business from the Ohio State University.

Thor is also in possession of an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters of Arts in Political Science from the American University in Beirut.

Ingrid and Thor plan to reside in Cincinnati.
