Evan - Skal
Julie Evan and Damian Skal, both of Butler, exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Oct. 18 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. David Panther officiated. A reception followed at the Tanglewood Senior Center.
The bride is the daughter of Feliciono and Mary Evan of DuBois. Parents of the bridegroom are Rosann Skal and her fiancé, Joe Lewis, both of Butler.
The honor attendant was the bride’s sister, Ann Burt of DuBois. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister, Cathy Evan of Cincinnati, and the bridegroom’s sister, Michelle Skal of Butler.
The flower girl was Jillian Skal of Aliquippa.
Performing the duties of best man was Mike Cornell of Butler. Ushers were the bridegroom’s brother, James Skal of Aliquippa and Matt Luster of Ellwood City. The ring bearer as Ian Skal of Aliquippa.
The bride graduated in 1996 from DuBois High School and in 2000 from Gannon University. She works at Butler Memorial Hospital.
The bridegroom graduated in 1991 from Butler High School and in 1999 from Gannon University. He works for Insight Health.
The couple is living in Butler following an Aruba wedding trip.
