Thompson - Kozik
Kylene Thompson of West Sunbury and Keith Kozik of Butler exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 27 at Community Alliance Church in Butler. The Rev. William Opperman officiated. A reception was held at The Atrium in Prospect.
The bride is the daughter of James and Linda Thompson of West Sunbury. Parents of the bridegroom are Van and Linda Kozik of Butler.
The honor attendant was Kim McClellan of Butler. Bridesmaids were Lisa Wise of Barnwell, S.C. and Laura Davies of Mechanicsville, Md. The flower girls were Stephanie Croft and Jennifer Croft, both of Butler.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Kregg Kozik of Butler. Ushers were Kevin Ruediger of Butler and Jeff Ruediger of Huntersville, N.C.
The bride graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and in 2003 from Liberty University, earning a bachelor’s degree in social science secondary education.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from BHS and in 2003 from Geneva College. He is the junior high youth pastor at Community Alliance Church in Butler.
Following a New York City honeymoon, the couple is making their home in Butler.
