Duffield - Myers
Butler residents Connie Duffield and Anthony Myers were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Jan. 17 at The Wedding Chapel in New Castle. The Rev. Stanley Janis officiated. A reception followed at the couple’s Butler home.
The bride is the daughter of Ernest Duffield of Widen, W.Va. and the late Betty Duffield. Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Lindy Myers of Glen, W.Va.
The honor attendant was the bride’s daughter, Tracy Haggerty of Claysville. The flower girl was the bride’s granddaughter, Kayla Poland of Claysville.
Performing the duties of best man was the bride’s son, Dennis Jones of Butler. The ring bearer was the bride’s grandson Sondaye´ Plants of Claysville.
The bride attended Slippery Rock High School and is a homemaker.
The bridegroom attended Clay High School and is employed by Vogel Disposal Services in Mars.
The couple is planning a July honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, N.Y. and is living in Butler.
