Melissa K. Nelson of Taylor Mill, Kentucky and Stephen P. Landers of Williamsburg, Ohio, were united in marriage April 5, 2004, at beautiful Magens Bay beach in St. Thomas.
The bride and groom wore casual wedding attire with sand beneath their bare feet at the sunset ceremony.
A reception was held at Lakeside Lodge April 24, 2004.
The bride is the daughter of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Edward J. Beckett.
She is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, and teaches at Woodland Middle School.
The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Landers.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati, and is employed by the accounting division of Kroger Manufacturing.
After a honeymoon in the Virgin Islands, the blissful newlyweds returned to Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
