Emily Kathleen Thorpe and Andrew Michael Sweeney were married on July 26, 2003 at Church of the Saviour United Methodist Church in Montgomery, OH.
Pastor Patty Matthews officiated at the 4:30 P.M. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Kathleen Thorpe of Montgomery, Ohio.
Thomas and Dianne Sweeney of Blue Ash, Ohio are parents of the groom.
The bride wore a strapless gown with crystal, pearl and silver detailing.
She carried a bouquet of pink roses. Molly Thorpe, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Attending the bride were Sarah Davis and Megan Sweeney of Cincinnati.
Also attending the bride were Katie Schwerdtmann of Chicago, Illinois and Courtney Nein of Columbus, Ohio.
The bridesmaids wore pale pink two piece dresses and carried a bouquet of white hydrangea.
The best men were Brian Sweeney, brother of the groom and Eric Buchakjian of Cincinnati.
The groomsmen were Eric Thorpe, Brian Wissel and Scott Taylor, also of Cincinnati.
Ring bearer was Christopher Carter.
A reception was held at Kenwood Country Club following the ceremony.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Sycamore High School and received her Masters of Education from the Ohio State University in June 2003.
She is employed at Sycamore Junior High School.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Sycamore High School and a 2002 graduate of Miami University.
He is employed at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple returned to their home in Madeira.
