Whitmire - Beachem
Butler residents Lori Lynn Whitmire and Travis Joseph Beachem exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 14, 2002 at Muddycreek United Presbyterian Church in Butler. The Rev. Francis L. Trotta officiated. A reception followed at the East Butler Fire Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Marian Frank of Slippery Rock and William Whitmire of Plain Grove. Parents of the bridegroom are David and LuAnn Beachem of Butler.
The maid of honor was Tricia Rieger of Butler. Bridesmaids were Dayna Gullo, Leslie Barnes, Paula Smouse, Megan Smouse and Heather Mikita, all of Butler; Charlotta Pedersen of Greenville, S.C.; Tiffany Rodgers of San Antonio; and Kim Beachly of Erie. The flower girl was Taylor Plunkard of Prospect.
Performing the duties of best man was Tim Voland of Butler. Groomsmen were Sam Plunkard of Prospect; Rob Mikita of Rob Rathbun, Zachary Beachem and Dan Beachem, all of Butler; Scott Sniezek of Portersville; Tom McDeavitt of Slippery Rock; and Wes Price of Norfolk, Va. The ring bearer was Dylan Beachem of Butler.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2000 graduate of Butler County Community College, earning a degree in executive office administration. She works at Boc Gases in Butler.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 1999 graduate of the New Castle School of Trades, earning a degree in machine technology. He works for Gatan in Cranberry Township.
The couple will live in Butler.
