Mr. and Mrs. Rick Bowdren of Cincinnati, Ohio are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Lee Marie Bowdren, to James E. Heald, the son of Hana J. Heald of Dedham, Mass. and Dr. and Mrs. James C. Heald of Kingwood, Texas.
Shannon is a PhD. candidate in Cognitive and Computational Neuropsychology at the University of Chicago.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology, with honors, at the University of Chicago.
Jimmy is the owner and publisher of The Dedham Times newspaper in Dedham, Mass.
He is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
The couple plan a September 2004 wedding in Portland, Maine.
