MARVIN Anniversary
Jane & Mason Marvin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 12, 2003 with a family gathering at a local restaurant.
The couple was married on September 12, 1953 in Atlantic City, NJ, where they both were raised.
Mason graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering in 1953 and took a job with the General Electric Co.
After living in Massachusetts for 12 years, they moved to their current home in Cincinnati (Greenhills) where they raised six children.
Mason is now retired from GE (after 40 years) but Jane is still working as a housewife and mother.
They are both enjoying being grandparents of their 10 grandchildren.
They are active members of the Northminster Presbyterian Church and Mason is a current barbershopper and past president of the Delta Kings Barbershop chorus.
Their children are Susan Marvin of Los Gatos, CA; Heidi Ehlers of Harrison, OH; Sgt. John Marvin of Tucson, AZ; Nadine Freihofer of Las Vegas, NV; Wendy Kirkwood of Cincinnati, OH and Sgt. Tim Marvin of Stuttgart, Germany.

(Obituary of Mason Marvin: "MARVIN, Mason D. Jr. passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother Lola Parker Marvin, his father Mason D. Marvin Sr. and his sister Lola Marvin Smith. He is survived by his spouse Sarajane Marvin (Patterson), daughters Susan Marvin, Heidi Martin (Brice), Nadine Burke (Ron), Wendy Kirkwood and sons John Marvin (Rachelle), Tim Marvin (Michaela), sisters Dorothy Nagel, Ruth Wilkins, ten grandchildren Kristen Mitchell (Jeff), Kyle McCarthy, Carrie Johnson (Russell), Luke McCarthy, Brittany Johnson (Chris), Catherine Green (Michael), Michelle Marvin, Emily Freihofer, Corinne Kirkwood, Jasmin Marvin, two great grandchildren Charlotte Green and Jackson Mitchell, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Tuesday, October 25th at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 703 Compton Rd. Cinti, OH 45231. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mason's name to Hospice of Cincinnati.")
