BRINKERS CELEBRATE 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Paul and Dorothy (Wagner) Brinker celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with Mass, renewal of vows and reception at the Church of the Nativity in Pleasant Ridge.
They were also honored at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral on May 3rd.
At the reception were their children; Paul and his wife Carol, Jean and her husband Greg Holubeck, and Karl, all of Cincinnati, David of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Robert and his wife Carol of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Steven of Providence, Rhode Island.
Also attending were the couple's eleven grandchildren: Sarah, Becca, Katy, Erik, Laura, Jenn, Michael, Stephanie, Steven, Krista and Austen, and great-grandchild, Ariell.
Paul is a retired Army Lt. Col. In 1975 he began a teaching career at Purcell High School, served as Principal of Covington Catholic High School for eight years and retired from Mt. Notre Dame High School in 1995.
After 21 years as an Army wife and homemaker, Dorothy began her second career at the 5/3 Bank and is now Bookkeeper for Sacred Heart Church and the Brinker Animal Hospital in Delhi.
Both are active in church ministries.
