Michelle Marie Miller of Butler and Ryan Mark Rhodes of Saxonburg exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. May 17, 2002 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Cabot.
The Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiated.
A reception followed at the Hampton Banquet Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Catherine Miller of Butler.
Parents of the bridegroom are Richard and Sandra Rhodes of Saxonburg.
The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Stephanie Miller of Butler.
Bridesmaids were Bonnie Demotte of Philadelphia; Mandi Wallace of Rochester, N.Y.; Bobbie Jean Black of Somerville, N.J.; Jennifer Crummy of Tucson, Ariz.; and Gwen Thompson and Kayla Church, both of Saxonburg.
The flower girls were Jenna Church of Saxonburg; Alexis Barhight of Tucson; and Jenna Shelton and Samanta Gallagher, both of Cabot.
Performing the duties of best man was Jay Gyger of Saxonburg.
Ushers were Kent Rhodes of Slippery Rock; Rob Hemphill of Sarver; and Mike Wallace of Rochester, N.Y. Benjamin Miller of Cabot was the ring bearer.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Knoch High School, earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry at Clarion University and is pursuing a teaching degree at Slippery Rock University.
She is the concierge at the Retreat at Pinetree.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Knoch High School and graduated from the Community College of Allegheny County.
He works for Kelly Chevrolet in Butler.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Bahamas and lives in Butler.
