Mrs. Lancaster was a beloved member of the Evangel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two of her daughters, Peggy Lancaster and Sharon Belser; leaves her cherished four daughters Kathy Lancaster, Laura Harris, Louise Homan, and Cindy Nickum; and her one son Kirby Lancaster Jr. She had a passionate love for her twenty-one grandchildren: Rich Branson, Kirby Lancaster III, Carolynn Balcar, Jana Nickum, Philip Homan, Bhec Lancaster, Jobe Homan, Brian Belser (deceased), Chad Homan, Ben Nickum, Laurie Homan, Will Homan, Heidi Belser, Tiffany Shiffer, Randy Harris Jr., Rose Goad, Alex Belser, Erin Homan, Christopher Harris, Emily Lancaster, and Nancie Homan. She also leaves twelve great-grandchildren: Lily Goad, Owen Nickum, Bryan Strathman, Madelynn Homan, Jimmy Homan, Jered Ware, Jada Ware, Ellie Shiffer, Henry Nickum (deceased), Emma Nickum, Levi Nickum (deceased), and Roman Balcar. There will be a Memorial Service held at First Baptist Church of Glen Este on Tuesday, 15 May at 11:00am. The church building is located at 1034 Old State Route 74, Batavia, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations will be kindly received for the First Baptist Church Missions Fund, as Joan Lancaster has enjoyed a lifelong love for God's global redemptive heart. We are comforted by the glorious hope that is ours in Christ, in being absent from the body we are present with our Lord. T.P. WHITE & SONS Funeral Home serving the family.")
