Tawana is the daughter of JoAnn Barber and Curtis Mapp, and the granddaughter of Ethel Barber, all of Cincinnati.
A graduate of Summit Country Day and Spelman College, she received her Masters in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.
The groom is the son of George and Atlee Clark of Montgomery and the grandson of Mattie Clark of Orville, AL.
A graduate of Carver High School, the Dept. of Defense Finance & Accounting School and the Dept. of the Army School of IT, he will be graduating with a Computer Science degree from Saint Leo University in Florida.
The wedding will take place June 7th, 2003 at the New Thought Unity Center.
