Mr. and Mrs. Michael Smitha of Indianapolis, Indiana announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ann to Kevin Fisher Ward, son of Terry and Barbara Ward of Springboro, Ohio, formerly of Liberty Township, Ohio.
Emily graduated from Butler University in 1999 with a B.A. in Education.
She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at Butler.
Emily is employed by the Indianapolis School District as a reading specialist.
Kevin graduated from Lakota High School in 1995 and from Butler University in 1999 with a B.S. in Finance.
He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Butler.
Kevin is a district manager for AFLAC in Indianapolis.
The couple will be married on New Year's Eve this year at the North Methodist Church in Indianapolis.
