HOLEMAN Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Keith Holeman will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 20, 2003.
They married in 1953 in their home state of Iowa.
Keith worked for Procter and Gamble for 35 years in New Jersey, Nebraska and finally Cincinnati retiring from P & G in 1992.
Joyce worked out of the home and raised their three children.
They have two sons, Mike and Tim; one daughter, Kellie; and three grandchildren, Morgan, Jacob and Sam.
Keith and Joyce are enjoying their retirement years traveling, gardening, golfing and volunteering.
They will celebrate their anniversary with a family gathering and a card shower.

(Obituary for Keith Holeman: "Keith V. Holeman, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Sunset Village after a short illness. He was born November 15, 1932 in Grundy Center, Iowa to Oswald and Grace (Smith) Holeman. A veteran of the US Army, he served his country from 1953-1955. After the armed forces he graduated from Iowa State University in 1957 with an engineering degree. Keith was an engineer with Proctor and Gamble for 35 years, retiring in 1992. He was an active member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a former volunteer with Ronald McDonald House both in Toledo and Cincinnati, and also volunteered at Flower Hospital. He enjoyed golf, reading and crossword puzzles. Keith was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joyce; and son, Timothy. He is survived by son, Michael (Christina) Holeman; daughter, Kellie (Kevin) Szenderski; daughter-in-law, Jeriel McAndrews; grandchildren, Morgan, Jacob and Samuel; and brother, John (Marcia) Holeman. Friends may visit the family at the Walker Funeral Home and Crematory 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Thursday September 1, from 4-8 PM where funeral services will follow Friday at 11 AM. She was born March 13, 1933, in Grundy Center, Iowa to Harold and Tena Schoon. Joyce's career was raising her family. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and entertaining. Joyce was an active member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a former volunteer at Ronald McDonald House both in Toledo and Cincinnati. She made friends in whatever she did and was a current member of the "flamingos." Preceded in death by her son, Timothy, she is survived by her husband, Keith; son, Michael (Christina) Holeman; daughter, Kellie (Kevin) Szenderski; daughter-in-law, Jeriel McAndrews; grandchildren, Morgan, Jacob and Samuel; sister, Jeri (Harley) Getting; and brother, Paul (Linda) Schoon.
