She is a graduate of Sycamore High School and Miami University.
She received her Masters of Education from Bowling Green State University in 2002.
The future groom is the son of Dennis Knapp and the late Roberta Knapp of Ashtabula.
He is the grandson of Elaine Valerio and the late Charles Valerio and the late Margaret and Hubert Knapp.
A graduate of St. John's High School in Ashtabula, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the Universityof Dayton.
The wedding will take place May 17, 2003.
