She is a graduate of Mercy High School and the University of Cincinnati.
She is currently working as a pharmacist at Western Hills Bigg's.
The future groom is the son of Diana and John McPherson of Leawood, Kansas.
He is the grandson of Marie and Glenn Brown of Overland Park, Kansas and Ruth and Roy Kickendall of Surprise, Arizona.
He is a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School and the University of Kansas Medical School.
He is currently a resident of Neurosurgery at the University of Cincinnati.
The wedding will take place in June at the Art Museum.
