Robert and Evelyn Adams celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Friday, August 9th, 2002.
The couple has lived in Cincinnati all their lives except for the first 2 years of their marriage while Robert was stationed at Amarillo Airforce Base in Texas.
The Adams' have 8 children: Robert Jr. (Mindy), Pat, Mary, John (Terrie), Jim (Kerry), Rose Goodrich (Jim), Pat Strack (Steve) and Mike, and 14 grandchildren all of Cincinnati.
Robert retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1985 after being employed there 33 years and Evelyn retired from McDonald's in 1990 after 11 years of employment to care for her elderly father.
A Mass of celebration was held on Saturday, August 10th at Holy Family Church in Price Hill with a party following at the Holy Family Gym Club Rooms.
Numerous family, friends and neighbors were in attendance.
