Prewitt Anniversary
Carroll and Bernice Prewitt celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 2, 2002.
Formerly of Cincinnati, they currently reside in Englewood, Florida.
The couple are parents of four children: Douglas, David, Debra (Stephens) and Deron, all of Cincinnati, Ohio.
They have thirteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
After accompanying their son, Douglas and his wife Cathy on an Alaskan Cruise in July, all the children and their spouses honored them with a dinner at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse on Saturday, August 3rd.
It was followed by a surprise Open House at the home of their daughter Debra and Jeff Stephens, with approximately 100 family and friends in attendance.
Bernice has been a lifetime member of Landmark Baptist Temple and Carroll since 1948.
Both were active in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts as troop leaders for a number of years.
They both retired from Empire Printing, Inc. in January, 2000 after a lifetime career in the printing industry.
