At a candlelit ceremony, September 1, 2002, at the Cincinnati Club, Ginger Elaine Jacobs of San Diego, California, was united in marriage to David A. Schlesinger, also of San Diego.
Parents of the bride are the Reverend Janet Jacobs and Ronald W. Jacobs of Aurora, Indiana. The groom is the son of Stuart and Carol Schlesinger of Scarsdale, New York.
The bride wore an ivory satin gown re-embroidered with alencon white lace and a hand-stitched floor length veil.
She carried a bouquet of white roses and a handkerchief belonging to her maternal grandmother.
Members of the wedding party included the bride's brother, Scott Jacobs, and honor attendants Joy Jacobs and Paul Hudson. The Reverend Dr. Robert Dungy performed the interfaith ceremony.
A dinner reception was held in the Harrison Ballroom of the Cincinnati Club.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and now reside in San Diego.
Th e bride is a graduate of Duke University and Harvard Law School and the groom graduated from Duke and New York University Law School.
