Freedom DeFelice and Douglas Bevington, both of Renfrew, were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. May 12, 2001 at the Church of the Nazarene in New Brighton.
The Rev. Donald McNeal officiated.
The ceremony was followed by a reception in Hindman Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McGallis, and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony DeFelice, all of Butler.
Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Bevington of New Brighton.
The maid of honor was Tonya DeFelice of Butler.
Bridesmaids were Tasha McGallis, Keri Vantine, Addison Strohbeen and Megan Slater, all of Butler; Chrissy Gilliland of Renfrew; and Amy Browne of Albuquerque, N.M.
The flower girl was Caitlin DeFelice of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Scott Alexander of New Brighton. Ushers were Dennis Bevington, Daniel Bevington and Lee Alexander, all of New Brighton; David Bevington of Orlando, Fla.; and Jason DeFelice and Glenn Garcia, both of Butler.
Logan DeFelice of Butler was the ring bearer.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School and is attending Butler County Community College.
She works for Dr. William DiCuccio and Associates, Butler.
The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Riverside High School and is attending Geneva College.
He works for Preston Dodge, Chippewa.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba and lives in Renfrew.
