Marcia Kay Walters and Ken Wilber, both of Boulder, Colo., exchanged wedding vows at 11 a.m. June 24, 2001 at the Red Lion Restaurant in Boulder Canyon, Colo.
The Rev. Sam Bercholz officiated.
Sara Bercholz of Boston was the shrine master.
A reception followed at the restaurant.
Parents of the bride are Dr. and Mrs. Loyal Gordon Walters of Butler.
The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ken Wilber of Greenville, S.C.
The bride’s honor attendants were Beth Rogers of Butler and Jodi Walters of Boulder.
Bridesmaids were Sunny Spielman and Kary Bennett, both of Boulder.
Isabella Walters of Boulder was the flower girl.
The groom’s best man was Roger Walsh of San Francisco.
Ryan Walters of Boulder was the groomsman.
The ring bearer was Russell Rogers of Butler.
The bride, a 1987 alumna of Knoch High School, received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000 and a master’s degree from Naropa University this year.
She is employed as a social worker at Boulder County Social Services.
The bridegroom is a writer.
The couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii.
They reside in Boulder.
