Dukes, Robey plan wedding engagement
Nicole Genevieve Dukes of Fairfax County, Va., and John Warren Robey of Atlanta, Ga., have announced their wedding engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Subira Dukes of Woodbridge, Va.
She is a graduate of Woodbridge High School, and Centre College in Danville, Ky., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in school psychology at George Mason University.
The future groom is the son of Ronald and Katherine Crawford Robey of Atlanta and Empire.
He is also the grandson of Eleanor Crawford Uehling of Empire, and Warren G. Robey of Lexington, Ky.
He is a graduate of Woodward Academy in Atlanta, and Centre College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English.
He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army in 2006, and qualified as an Army Ranger.
He is currently deployed in Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne Division.
The couple’s wedding will be held after the prospective groom completes his tour of duty.
