Morgans and Scarcella
Kimberly Morgans, daughter of Robert and Janelle Morgans, Delano, and Jason Scarcella, son of Robert and Mary Beth Scarcella, Hazleton, were united in marriage on May 18 in Most Precious Blood Church. The Rev. Samuel Perrins performed the double ring ceremony.
Following a reception at the Best Western Genetti Motor Lodge, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. They now reside in Delano.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Keri Morgans, Delano, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Scarcella, Hazleton; Nichole Heiser, Strasburg, and Denise Shaup, Delano.
Performing the duties of best man was Ryan Scarcella, Hazleton, and the groomsmen were Brandon Morgans, Laurel, Md.; Jimmy McGarry, Kelayres, and John Kowalczyk, Hazleton. Jordan Scarcella, Hazleton, was the ring bearer.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and a 2000 graduate of Bloomsburg University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She is a third grade teacher in the Panther Valley School District.
The groom, a 1996 graduate of Hazleton Area High School and a 1999 graduate of Penn State University with an associate degree in engineering technology is employed as a field engineer for Moyer Instruments, Tamaqua.
A shower in honor of the bride was held at Most Precious Blood Church hall and the rehearsal dinner was held at Zola’s Italian House.
