Brobst and Adams
Kira D.L. Brobst, daughter of Howard P. and Carol L. Brobst, Tamaqua, and John W. Adams, son of Michael T. and Lucille M. Parrell, McAdoo, were married in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Eleanor Allen in the First Presbyterian Church, Hazleton.
Following a reception at the Best Western Genetti Motor Lodge, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to Virginia Beach, Va. They now reside in Hometown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Judy Farnell, Hazleton, and Kelly Just, Pulaski, N.Y., as matron and maid of honor, respectively. Bridesmaids were Tammy Brobst and Jessica Brobst, Hometown; Maria Benjamin, Mahanoy City; Christine Nunemacher, Lansford; Gina O’Hazzo and Andrea Yachera, McAdoo, and Brandi Parrell, Jacksonville, Fla. Christina Brobst, Hometown, was the flower girl.
Peter Minneci, McAdoo, was the best man, and groomsmen were Sean Brobst, Hometown; Cliff Gresko, Hazleton; John Avillion, Sugarloaf; Thomas Parrell, Jacksonville, Fla.; Craig Sloviak, Johnson’s Creek, Wis.; and Casey Miles, Omaha, Neb. Bobby O’Hazzo, McAdoo, was the ring bearer.
The bride, a 1994 graduate of Marian High School and a 1997 graduate of Penn State University, is employed by West End Physical Therapy, Kresgeville, and is a dance instructor for Susan Yushko’s Academy of Dance, Lansford. The groom is a 1990 graduate of Hazleton High School and a 1995 graduate of Park University, Great Falls, Montana. He served in the Air Force for eight years and is in the Reserves, and is employed as a network engineer for Penske Truck Leasing, Green Hills.
A shower in honor of the bride was held at the Elks Lodge, Hazleton, and the rehearsal dinner was held at Cousin’s, Hazleton.
