Justine Gass and Joshua Gunvalsen, both of Mentor, Ohio, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. April 7, 2001 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Cabot.
The Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiated.
A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Debbie Miller and Bill and Vicki Gass, all of Butler.
Parents of the bridegroom are Jim and Tammy Gunvalsen of Mentor.
The honor attendant was Kimberly Vavra of Candor, N.Y. Meghan Gunvalsen of Mentor was the bridesmaid.
The flower girls were Megan Schorr of Butler and Shannon Sheck of Concord, Ohio.
Serving as best man was Walt Conte of Delaware, Ohio.
Ushers were Jarron Gass and Jim Shipley, both of Butler; Keith Hovey of Medford, Mass.; Joseph Perdue of Willoughby, Ohio; and Thomas Murphy of Vermillion, Ohio.
The ring bearers were Ryan Murphy of Vermillion and Patrick Sheck of Concord.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2000 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College.
She works for LTV Steel in Cleveland.
The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Mentor High School and a 1998 graduate of Case Western Reserve University.
He works for Harry E. Davis Middle School in Cleveland.
The couple is residing in Mentor, following a honeymoon at Niagara-on-the-Lake.
