Kok anniversary
Don and Joyce Kok of Lynden celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their children and grandchildren at Sun River, Ore., in July.
Friends are invited to join them on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003 for cake and coffee after the morning service at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Lynden.
The Koks were married on Oct. 14, 1953 at Third Christian Reformed Church in Lynden.
After serving in the Navy during the Korean War, Don graduated from Western Washington State College and taught school in the Shoreline School District from 1962 to 1994.
They moved to Lynden in 1995.
Since retiring, they have enjoyed volunteering for CRWRC, Rehoboth Christian School, and churches.
Their children are Terry Kok, Linda Kroon and Kevin Kok.
They have 10 grandchildren.
They give the credit for their 50 years to God's rich blessings and a supportive family.
