Goertz anniversary

Linferd and Pearl Goertz of Ferndale will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a no-gift open house hosted by their children from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at 6461 Aldrich Road.

The Goertzes were married in Elbing, Kan., on Nov. 6, 1951.

Their children are Jeffrey Goertz of Ferndale and Kevin Goertz and wife Kim and Tarrell Goertz and wife Colleen, all of Bellingham.

They have four grandchildren.
