Mr. and Mrs. Johnny McKenzie of College Park and Mrs. Nancy Smith of Jonesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Renee Smith, to Matthew Ladon Lloyd, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Ladon Lloyd of Tyrone.
The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Tri-Cities High School in East Point, and a 2003 graduate of Georgia State University, where she received a degree in recreational management.
She is currently employeed with DeKalb Parks and Recreation.
The groom-elect is a 1997 graduate of Sandy Creek High School.
He is manager of the business office at the Fountainview Center for Alzheimer’s Disease in Atlanta.
The wedding will be Nov. 8, 2003, at Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in East Point.
After a honeymoon in Europe, the couple will reside in Dunwoody.
