The engagement of Candace Ann Purkey to Robert J. Holland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald J. Holland of Gettysburg, is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Purkey of Bethel Park.

The bride-to-be is employed by the Bob Purkey Agency Inc.

Her fiance works for Washington National Insurance Co.

Both are graduates of Duquesne University.
