The engagement of Debra M. Crawford to David J. Burkey, son of Dr. and Mrs. Fred J. Burkey of Mt. Lebanon, is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Crawford, also of Mt. Lebanon.
Miss Crawford graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University with a bachelor's degree in administration and management science.
She is a business analyst at Sauer Industries Inc., while attending the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Business.
Her fiance, a biophysics graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, is a senior at Pitt's School of Medicine.
The couple plan a December 1982 wedding.
