Mr. and Mrs. Herbert J. Brankley of Penn Hills announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Ann, to James D. Murphy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Murphy, Whitehall.
Miss Brankley, a graduate of Penn Hills High School, is a senior majoring in marketing at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Her fiance is studying criminology at the same school.
