John S. and Phyllis Overton of Elmira, NY would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Overton to Edmund George Lowe, the son of Donald and Anna Lowe of Kirkland, Quebec, Canada.
The bride-elect graduated from Elmira Free Academy and Ithaca College, with a BS in Physical Education and Health.
She is currently employed by Horseheads High School where she is a teacher of Physical Education and Coaching.
The bridegroom-elect graduated from John Rennie High School in Point Claire, Quebec, Canada, and the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with a BA in Sociology.
He is currently employed as a hockey player for the Elmira Jackals as #26.
Their wedding is tentatively planned for August 24, 2002 in Elmira, NY.
