Amy Paggio and Shane Lese, both of Horseheads, NY., were married August 18, 2001 at St. Patrick's Church in Elmira. The 6:00 PM ceremony was performed by Father Wainwright.
The Bride, daughter of Charles and Andrea Paggio of Elmira, and granddaughter of Joseph and Irene Paggio of Elmira, Virginia Kliegel of Elmira and the late Anton Kliegel, earned a BS from SUNY Geneseo, and is a teacher for the Horseheads School District.
The Groom, son of Steven and Sally Lese of Horseheads, and grandson of Armond and Jean Lese of Corning, Eileen Schweizer of Horseheads, and the late Ernest Sweitzer, earned a BS and a MS from SUNY Cortland, and is also a teacher for the Horseheads School District.
Maid of Honor was Lorraine Packard, and Bride's attendants were Shelby Ham(sister of the Groom) Lisa Seeley, Karin Freeland, and Debra Freeland(cousins of the Bride).
Best Man was Steven Lese(Father of the Groom), and groomsmen were Jason Lehmbeck, Jamie Holtz, Dennis Ham (brother-in-law of the Groom), Bill Paggio(brother of the Bride), and Gus Gorman.
A reception was held at the National Warplane Museum.
After a honeymoon to Lake Placid, the couple live in Horseheads.
