PLATTSBURGH -- Michelle Lea Marie Duquette and Ryan Alexander Miller were married July 5, 2008, in Plattsburgh Memorial Chapel, Plattsburgh, by Justice Christina T. Bezrutczyk.
The bride is the daughter of Robert S. and Cynthia L. Duquette of Peru. The bridegroom is the son of Scott A. and Deborah J. Miller of Malone.
Kimberly Duquette of Peru, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Joshua Miller of Albany, the bridegroom's brother.
Bridesmaids were Rebecca Duquette of Plattsburgh, daughter of the bride; Tiffany Duquette of Peru, the bride's sister; Kelly Douglas of San Diego, Calif., Deanna Rasco of Hyde Park and Alice Jolly of Plattsburgh. Hallee Duquette, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Ushers were Matthew Duquette of Peru, the bride's brother; Joel Deragon of Fredricksburg, Va., Sanjay Reddy of Los Angeles, Calif., Jeff Johnson of Plattsburgh and Dave Weir of Plattsburgh. Nathaniel Begg, the bride's son, was ring bearer.
A reading was given by Madeleine Rabideau of Underhill, Vt., aunt of the bride. Programs were handed out by Chloe Lobdell of Altona, the bride's cousin.
A reception was held at the Comfort Inn Grand Ballroom.
Michelle Miller is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Leta Lobdell of Chateaugay, and the late Rene and Raymonde Duquette of Rouses Point. She is a mortgage consultant at Adirondack Funding Services in Plattsburgh.
Ryan Miller is the grandson of Benard Venema of Goshen and the late June Venema; and Marge Miller of North Bangor and the late Preston Miller. He is a graphic designer at Adirondack All-Star Sports in Plattsburgh.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the Millers reside on Margaret Street, Plattsburgh.
