CHAMPLAIN — Kayla Lynn Guerin and Eric Steven Boutin were married Aug. 23, 2008, at the American Legion hall, Champlain, by Orville Nedeau. The ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Guerin of Mooers and Lynn Johnson of Burke. The bridegroom is the son of Steve and Eileen Boutin of Mooers Forks.
Kate Laporte was maid of honor. Best man was Corey Boutin, brother of the bridegroom.
Bridesmaids were Chelsea Mcgibbon of Champlain, the bridegroom's cousin; and Mallory Ferguson of Altona. Flower girl was Chelsea Guerin of Mooers, sister of the bride.
Ushers were Justin Guerin of Sciota, the bride's cousin; and Nick Fletcher of Mooers Forks. Ring bearer was Devin Boutin, cousin of the bridegroom.
Kayla Boutin graduated from Franklin Academy, Malone, in 2004 and is attending Stratford CI for a degree in nursing. She has served in the U.S. Army. She is employed at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh.
Eric Boutin graduated from Northeastern Clinton Central School, Champlain, in 2003. He is a process technician at Intra Pac Plastics in Plattsburgh.
The Boutins reside on Church Street in Champlain.
