PLATTSBURGH — Sarah Elizabeth Carlin and Matthew Garrison Favro were married May 30, 2009, in St. Peter's Church by the Rev. John R. Yonkovig and the Rev. Roger McGuiness.
The bride is the daughter of James Carlin and Beth Carlin and Douglas Walker and Susan Walker.
The bridegroom is the son of Gary Favro and Debra Favro.
Grace Carlin of Plattsburgh, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor.
Best man was Mark Favro of Denver, Colo., the bridegroom's brother.
Bridesmaids were Keri Zielinski of Plattsburgh, Julia Lawson of Plattsburgh and Megan Doolen of Pensacola, Fla.
Ushers were John Carlin of Plattsburgh, brother of the bride; Ryan Constantine of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Andrew Safranko of Albany.
A reception was held at the West Side Ballroom.
Sarah Favro graduated from Peru Central School in 2004 and Plattsburgh State in 2008 with a degree in sociology.
She is employed at Adirondack Helping Hands Inc.
Matthew Favro graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1997, Providence College in 2001 and Albany Law School in 2006, with degrees in marketing, cum laude; and law, cum laude. He is employed in the law offices of Gary L. Favro.
The Favros took a 10-day Caribbean cruise.
