ALBANY — Rachael Denise Racine and David Andrew Etzler were married May 30, 2009, at the Corning Tower Observation Deck, Empire State Plaza, Albany, by Eugene Kendrick Sr.
The ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Maurice Racine of Plattsburgh and Laurie Bethka of Morrisonville.
The bridegroom is the son of M. David Etzler of Rutland, Vt., and Andrea Orlyk of Colchester, Vt.
Kelley Struble was matron of honor. Best man was Chip Richardson.
Rachael Racine graduated from Chazy Central Rural School in 1999 and Plattsburgh State in 2003 with a B.A. degree in communication disorders and science, and an M.S. degree in biomedical science in 2007 from the Wadsworth Center in Albany.
She will graduated with her Ph.D in immunology and infectious disease at the Wadsworth Center, Albany.
David Etzler graduated from South Burlington High School, Burlington, Vt., in 1996 and Plattsburgh State in 2000 with a B.A. degree in mass media and communication. He is a television studio manager at Siena College.
After a wedding trip to Spain and Ireland, the couple reside at 111 Winthrop Ave., Albany.
