Magoon -- McCreless
ELLENBURG -- Marcy Lynn Magoon and Dennis Howard McCreless III were married July 26, 2008, in St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg, by the Rev. John Looby.
The bride is the daughter of Miles and Diane Magoon of 1831 Bradley Pond Road, Ellenburg Center. The bridegroom is the son of Sherryl McCreless of 603 Bull Run Road, Ellenburg Depot, and the late Dennis H. McCreless Jr.
Donna Bourquin of Cape Vincent was matron of honor. Best man was Jason McKinney of Ellenburg Center.
Bridesmaids were Lynn Magoon of Ellenburg Center, sister of the bride; Myndi Almodovar of West Chazy and Holly Seguin of Churubusco, the bridegroom's sisters; Lee Ann Sample of Altona, sister of the bride; and Darlene Rowe of Ellenburg Depot, the bride's aunt. Flower girl was Maria Almodovar of West Chazy, niece of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Brandon LaBombard of Ellenburg Center, the bride's cousin; Robert Almodovar of West Chazy, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Christian Garceau of Ellenburg Depot, the bridegroom's nephew; Claude Magoon of Ellenburg Center, brother of the bride; and Michael Garceau of Ellenburg Depot, the bridegroom's brother-in-law. Ring bearer was Casper LaBarge of Ellenburg Center, nephew of the bride.
The bride was escorted by her father, Miles Magoon, and her son, Devin Brunell.
Readings were by Myndi Almodovar and Leah Garceau. Reading of "The Hands" was by Chad Magoon and Pamela Davies. Elizabeth Boyea was vocalist and Buffy Little was organist. Presentation of the gifts was by Stephen and Sandra Magoon, the bride's godparents.
A reception was held at the Rainbow Wedding and Banquet Hall in Altona.
Marcy McCreless graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School and Paul Smith's College with a liberal arts degree. She is employed at World Warehouse in Champlain in the Transportation Office.
Dennis McCreless III graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School. He is employed at Lake Champlain Remodeling, in carpentry.
After a wedding trip to Lake George, the couple resides at 1832 Bradley Pond Road, Ellenburg Center.
