PLATTSBURGH -- Ashley Boyea and Kevin Ryan were married June 7, 2008, in St. Peter's Church, Plattsburgh, by Msgr. Timothy Ryan.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Patricia Boyea of 74 Baker Road, Chazy. The bridegroom is the son of Timothy and Kathleen Ryan of 33 Reynolds Road, West Chazy.
Nichole Martin, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Dan Ryan, the bridegroom's brother.
Bridesmaids were Megan Ryan of Chazy, sister of the bridegroom; Susan Velan of Saratoga Springs; Jamie Rodman of Morrisville, N.C.; and Cheryl Avery of Burlington, Vt. Kameron Hosten was flower girl.
Ushers were Nolan Ryan of Chazy, the bridegroom's brother; Jon Trombly of Chazy; Jacob Rodman of Morrisville; and Craig Beauharnois of Chazy. Ring bearer was Noah Martin, nephew of the bride.
A reception was held at Peck's Place.
Ashley Ryan graduated from Chazy Central Rural School in 2002 and Empire State College, Saratoga Springs, in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in health care administration. She is a radiology manager at Wake Internal Medicine Consultants in Raleigh, N.C., and an emergency room radiologic technologist in Chapel Hill, N.C., for UNC Healthcare.
Kevin Ryan graduated from Chazy Central in 2001 and Plattsburgh State in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in environmental planning and management. He is laboratory manager at CLT Engineering in Durham, N.C.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the Ryans reside at 1113 Bondhu Place, Morrisville, N.C.
