ESSEX -- Stephanie Tara Gardner and Jonathan Thomas Walsh were married June 28, 2008, in St. Joseph's Church, Essex, by the Rev. Scott Seymour.
The bride is the daughter of Alan and Tina Gardner of Essex and Nancy and Tim Seaver.
The bridegroom is the son of John and Diane Walsh of Yonkers.
Emily Gardner-Phillips of Essex, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Best man was Kenneth Walsh of Yonkers, the bridegroom's brother.
Bridesmaids were Nicole Hutchins of Willsboro, future sister-in-law of the bride, and Catherine Walsh of Yonkers, the bridegroom's sister.
Ushers were Anthony Nigro of Yonkers, and Brandon Dorman of Carmel, cousin of the bridegroom.
Shelby Gardner of Willsboro, brother of the bride, was the usher for the grandmothers on the bride's side.
A reception was held at the Westport Hotel in Westport.
Stephanie Walsh graduated from Willsboro Central School in 1999; SUNY Potsdam in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (psychology and sociology); and Mount St. Mary's, Newburgh, in 2006 with a Master of Science degree in childhood and special education. She is a special education teacher at the Center for Discovery, Harris.
Jonathan Walsh graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School, White Plains, in 1999; and Clarkson University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in management information system and technical information, Potsdam. He is an account manager at Live Technology in Tuxedo.
The couple reside in Middletown with their dog, Rupert. They are planning a wedding trip in the spring of 2009.
