Srilaphan — Rascoe
ALBURGH, Vt. — Ornicha Srilaphan of Annapolis, Md., and Jay Rascoe of Underhill, Vt., were married Aug. 8, 2008, by Justice of the Peace Howard Tepper on the shores of Lake Champlain in Alburgh, Vt.
The bride is the daughter of Ponchai and Sujin Srilaphan of Pathumtani, Thailand. The bridegroom is the son of Wayne and Carol Rascoe of Alburgh.
The bride was presented in marriage by Paul Ciosek, of Richmond, Vt.
Kamonwan Kakandee of Winooski, Vt., was the maid of honor. Michael Brennen, of Albany, Vt., was the best man.
A reception catered by friends Paul and Yingrak Ciosek of Tiny Thai Restaurant was held in Alburgh.
Ornicha Rascoe graduated from Prince of Songkla University, Phuket, Thailand, with a bachelor's degree in hotel and tourism management. She is completing her internship at the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel as a front desk associate.
Jay Rascoe graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and is a test engineer at IBM.
A honeymoon in Orlando, Fla., has been planned. The Rascoes reside in Underhill, Vt.
