Pheneuf -- Geppner
CHAMPLAIN -- Theresa Ann Pheneuf and Leo M. Geppner were married in an outdoor ceremony July 5, 2008, at the VFW Post 1418, Champlain, by Judge John Favreau.
The ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of Rose Pheneuf, and stepdaughter of Jerry Clausen, of 378 Route 9, Champlain, and the late George W. Pheneuf.
The bridegroom is the son of Stephen and Deanna Geppner of 248 Staley Road, Morrisonville.
Tiffany Geppner of West Chazy, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, was matron of honor.
Best man was Stephen II Geppner of West Chazy, the bridegroom's brother.
Bridesmaids were Kim Pheneuf of Chazy and Abby Pheneuf of Champlain, nieces of the bride; Jen Lussier of Hemmingford, Que., the bride's sister; and Shawntell Brown of AuSable Forks, niece of the bridegroom.
Brittany Geppner of West Chazy, the bridegroom's niece, was flower girl.
Ushers were Adam Stickles and Brandon Stickles, both of Plattsburgh, cousins of the bridegroom; Scott Robbins of Plattsburgh; and Devin Fournier of Plattsburgh, the bridegroom's nephew.
Conner Gonyea of West Chazy was ring bearer.
Heather Smith was usher for the flower girl and ring bearer.
The bride was escorted by her brothers, Danny Pheneuf and Fred Pheneuf.
Theresa Geppner graduated from Chazy Central Rural School and CV-TEC in 2001.
She is employed by Clinton County ARC.
Leo Geppner graduated from Saranac Central and CV-TEC in 2001.
He is employed by DEC.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the Geppners reside in Plattsburgh.
