DELMAR -- Amy Lee Fortuin and Christian Kenneth Salmonsen were married Oct. 28, 2006, in Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Delmar, by the Rev. Berberian.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and MaryJo Cronin of Delmar.
The bridegroom is the son of Keith and Peggy Salmonsen of Plattsburgh.
Kristina Fournier of Delmar was maid of honor.
Best man was Eric Salmonsen of Oswego, brother of the bridegroom.
Bridesmaids were Marlena Fortuin of Troy, the bride's cousin; Meghan Theis of Hudson Falls and Christine Hook of Green Island.
Ushers were Jesse Martin of Waltham, Mass., Kurt Theis of Hudson Falls and Sean Higgins of Altamont.
The bride was escorted by her father, Steve Fortuin, and stepfather, Michael Cronin.
A reception was held at Shaker Ridge Country Club, Colonie.
Amy Salmonsen, also the daughter of Steve and Brenda Fortuin of Buffalo, graduated from Bethlehem Central School in 1999, Plattsburgh State in 2003 with a bachelor's of science in education, and Sage Graduate School with a master's degree in literacy.
She teaches in the Bethlehem School District.
Christian Salmonsen graduated from Peru Central School in 1996 and St. Lawrence University, Canton, in 2000 with a B.S. in psychology and fine arts.
He is a graphic artist at NY Press & Graphics in Albany.
After a wedding trip to Stowe, Vt., the Salmonsens reside in Latham.
