Patnode -- Taughran
SUFFERN -- Angela Patnode and Thomas Taughran were married Oct. 12, 2007, in the Holiday Inn, Suffern, by the Rev. Ralph T. Holly. The ceremony was followed by a reception.
The bride is the daughter of David and Denise Patnode of 65 Sancomb Road, Chateaugay.
The bridegroom is the son of Tom Taughran Sr. of 2621 Lantern Light Way, Manasquan, N.J., and the late Joan Taughran.
Maryann Coogan of Pomona was maid of honor.
Best man was Chris Taughran of Nyack, brother of the bridegroom.
Bridesmaids were Siobhan Connolly of Orangeburg, the bridegroom's sister; Denise Strehle and Carrie Drum, both of Pearl River; and Michele O'Rourke of Ramsey, N.J.
Emily Drum of Pearl River was flower girl.
Ushers were Charles Connolly of Orangeburg, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Pat Judge of Nanuet, Ed Drum of Pearl River, Tyrone Helmer of Congers, Frank Costello of Clifton Park, Dennis Lacey of New York City, and Alan Conklin of Charlotte, N.C. Thomas Patrick Taughran III of Pomona, son, was ring bearer.
Readings were by Darlene Abbott, the bride's aunt, and Kerri White, sister of the bridegroom.
Angela Taughran graduated from Chateaugay Central School, attended North Country and Clinton Community colleges studying business administration and went to massage therapy school at the Healing Hands Institute in Westwood, N.J.
She works at Scarpulla Chiropractic in Orangeburg, building her private practice.
Thomas Taughran graduated from Nanuet High School and attended SUNY Brockport College in criminal justice.
He is a detective with NYPD and has served 22 years on the force.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the Taughrans reside in Pomona.
