PLATTSBURGH -- Kimberly Anne Boswell and Paulo Dean Yarbrough were married Sept. 1, 2007, in St. Peter's Church, Plattsburgh, by the Rev. William Reamer.
The bride is the daughter of Kathy and Robert Boswell of 3 Owen Drive, Peru.
The bridegroom is the son of Christiano and Virginia Hashimoto of 86-4322 Mamalohoa Highway, Captain Cook, Hawaii.
Tracy Lynn Coleman of Morrisonville, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.
Best man was Marlin Weichel of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Bridesmaids were Renee Lyons of Harrisburg, Pa.; Melissa Davis of O'Fallon, Ill.; and Stephanie Boswell-Davies of Peru and Robin Bresette of Morrisonville, the bride's sisters. Sarah Davis of O'Fallon was flower girl and Jessica Davis, also of O'Fallon, was junior bridesmaid.
Ushers were Kris Rowe of Swansea, Ill.; Scott Coleman of Morrisonville and Shawn Davies of Peru, brothers-in-law of the bride; and Brian Bresette of Morrisonville, also the bride's brother-in-law. Cameron Coleman of Morrisonville, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Junior usher was Carsen Coleman of Morrisonville, also the bride's nephew.
Readers were Al Davis of O'Fallon, Meiling Englert of Custer, Wash., sister of the bridegroom; and Jodie Osborne of Peru, the bride's cousin.
Altar servers (and programs) were Olivia and Claire Keever of Plattsburgh.
Offertory gifts were presented by Marjorie Harrigan and Bernice Collins, great-aunts of the bride.
Unity candles were lit by the mothers of the bride and bridegroom, Kathy Boswell and Virginia Hashimoto.
Lighting of the candles of remembrance were Sue Worley, the bride's aunt, and Meiling Englert, sister of the bridegroom.
Soloist was Julie Frisbee of Peru, and organist was Dennis Frisbee of Peru.
The bride was escorted by her parents, Kathy and Robert Boswell.
A reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Plattsburgh.
Kimberly Boswell-Yarbrough, a graduate of Peru Central School, graduated from Plattsburgh State with a bachelor's degree in nursing and the University of Phoenix in 2007 with a master's degree in nursing. A major select in the U.S. Air Force, she is the nurse manager for the Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
Paulo Yarbrough, a graduate of Konawaena High School, graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1993 and the American Military University in 2005 with a master's degree in military science specializing in air warfare. A major in the U.S. Air Force, he is the assistant director of operations for the 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
The couple resides in Oberstaufenbach, Germany. They are taking a Scandanavian cruise in June to Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Russia and Finland.
