LAKE PLACID -- Bethany Stephenson and Gregory Kress were married June 7, 2008, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, Lake Placid, by the Rev. Joseph Morgan.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Celia Stephenson of Wilmington. The bridegroom is the son of Henry and Alice Kress of Lake Placid.
Amy Ano was maid of honor. Best man was Sgt. Shawn Farnsworth.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Ano of Wilmington; Monica Borden of Glenville, sister of the bridegroom; Kasey Lawrence of Hilton Head, S.C.; and Cierra Stephenson of Wilmington, the bride's niece.
Ushers were Kent Stephenson of Wilmington, brother of the bride; Bob Borden of Glenville, the bridegroom's brother-in-law; Logan Stephenson of Wilmington, nephew of the bride; and Christopher Borden of Glenville, the bridegroom's nephew.
Ring bearers were Carter and Cooper Grady.
The bride was escorted by her mother and father.
A reception was held at Whiteface Mountain Ski Center.
Bethany Kress graduated from Lake Placid Central School in 1995 and SUNY Cobleskill in 1998 with an A.A.S. in fish and wildlife management.
She is employed by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Ray Brook.
Gregory Kress graduated from Schenectady High School and served in the U.S. Army.
He is employed at Doug West Sand and Gravel.
After a wedding trip to Cape Cod for three nights and Laconia, N.H., for three nights, the couple resides in Wilmington.
